Detached holiday home in the beautiful setting of Achill Island on the rugged west coast of Ireland.
Your own private driveway leads to this home from home that offers all modern conveniences combined with the rustic setting of the Atlantic coast, moors and mountains. (Don’t worry there is a bridge that connects Achill to the mainland).
The house has sea views and has its own sea shore frontage just a 200m stroll down a private path. There is a patio area where you can sit out and relax and enjoy the fresh sea air.
Inside there is a large lounge with wonderful views and the all important open fire for relaxing evenings. Turf for the fire and electricity is part of this all inclusive package – there are no hidden extras – all we want is for you to enjoy your stay with us so that you will want to come back again. There is a TV / Video / DVD / CD and a library of books, videos and DVDs for your entertainment when you return in the evening after exploring the many delights that Achill offers.
The modern dining kitchen has all the facilities that you would expect:
There are two cosy bedrooms, one double and one with two single beds. The newly fitted bathroom offers the alternatives of a relaxing bath or an invigorating shower.
The owners live nearby and will be delighted to advise you on the many facilities that are available on the island. There are five blue flag beaches, many interesting walks with stunning views and lots of pubs where you can meet the very friendly islanders.
Achill is only 60 miles away from Ireland West Airport Knock which is serviced by Ryanair and BMI baby from many UK airports. Please feel free to contact us for information about other travel arrangements; there are several ferry companies offering discount travel to Ireland.
Prices are inclusive of heating and normal end of let cleaning costs. A week is 3pm Saturday until 11am Saturday. A cash bond of 100 euro against damages will be required on arrival, which of course,will be returned when you leave after your enjoyable holiday with us.
